Set in one of Victoria’s most beautiful regional townships, Opera in the Alps is one of the country’s leading celebrations of culture, place and season … Beechworth is at the heart of the festival and pairs voice and drama with some of the areas magnificent fresh produce and delicacies. Our experience will see us enjoy the celebration of culture with our special dinner hamper and reserved seats with excellent views of the stage so as to appreciate all the night’s entertainment and festivities. Basing ourselves in Bright for the three nights we will also experience the beauty of Mt Buffalo and the historic chalet built in 1910, together with visits to Tawonga Gap with its breath taking views of Mt Bogong and Mount Beauty. We will also visit the heritage listed township of Yackandandah and famous Milawa Cheese Factory.
