Ballarat is absolutely blooming this week with the iconic community event the Ballarat Begonia Festival. We will arrive in time for the Festival Parade before having time to wander the Ballarat Botanical Gardens, home to the festival. Our four days of touring will be packed with many highlights, including the new Museum of Australian Democracy, and the highly acclaimed light and sound show at Sovereign Hill, and a day exploring the historic Ararat including a visit to J Ward and the Gum San Chinese Heritage Centre. We will venture through to Creswick to experience the magic of the Creswick Woollen Mill traveling on to the beautiful Daylesford for visits to the Convent Gallery and Frogmore Gardens on our way home.
