Flinders Island is the largest island in the Furneaux Group, a group of 52 islands that sit in Bass Strait between Victoria and Tasmania. When you set foot on Flinders Island you step into an awe-inspiring world of sparkling beaches, rugged ranges, abundant wildlife, flora and clear sapphire waters. Much of the region is still exactly as Matthew Flinders found it when he first explored this area 200 years ago. It’s easy to imagine walking back through the centuries as you explore the island … our exploration will include many of the natural wonders of the island including Patriarchs Wildlife Sanctuary, Tobias Lookout, Port Davies, and Killiecrankie, the home of the famous Killiecrankie Diamonds. With our accommodation situated on the shores of Adelaide Bay we look out over the majestic views of the islands of Franklin Sound – Flinders Island is a special place and offers a break from the real world.
