Mount Gambier is a thriving city set in a unique and ancient landscape of volcanic craters, lakes, limestone and mysterious underground waterways. Supporting a population of around 24,000 it is the regional centre of the South Australian Limestone Coast. From “the Mount” we can explore picturesque towns like Penola, rugged coastline, impressive volcanic craters and mountain lakes and spectacular caves dating back hundreds of thousands of years.
